Ponerse and quitarse
ponerse + clothing = to put something on. quitarse + clothing = to take something off. Me pongo el abrigo (I'm putting on my coat). Se quita los zapatos (he's taking off his shoes). Don't confuse with ponerse + adjective (to become): me pongo triste = I get sad.
